Mmmm ice cream. Gee I am tired, I worked till midnight last night and got up at 6.30 am this morning to go to my day job and am trying to find some energy to rewrite my next assignment out in good. So a brief blog today.

Tuesday, March 29, 2005

I am back home now, I took the night off from my night filling job, so I could get my nose to the grind and finish off more homework and assignments, am still 3 assignments behind. I handed one in a few weeks ago and received it back today, I received 63/90, which she marked as 70 percent. I am happy with that, maybe would have been better, had I not left an entire question out, I have no idea what I was thinking, I have it worked out in the draft, but when I wrote out the good version, with all corrections, I completely left out question 7. Not to worry, shall keep going.
I think I really need someone to proof read my assignments, as I am not confident enough to believe I can spot the mistakes.
mmm that does look better, can anyone spot the subtle change. I am going to change my photo soon too, the one up there was taken on a bad hair day hee hee. Just kidding. It is a strange photo, and I think I would like a new one. I Better get back to work.

Easter Monday. Its been a mixed weekend, firstly I travelled down to my boyfriends parents farm, I stayed just the one night and travelled back up to the city with my mum as she was passing through on her way to the airport to pick up my sister.
So last night I had my mum, sister and her daughter and my brother all in my house, first thing we did, was jump in my spa (heated, with bubblers) . I showed my niece (Zoe) how to play 'eye toy' on playstation and now she is addicted, much to the dismay of her mother. We also had Zoe's dog, 'Max' a little crossbreed chihauhau, he is such a darling and so well behaved. Luckily everyone went to bed at 7.30pm, which allowed me time to sit down and do more homework, (only the thunderstorm was making concentrating a little tricky),when I was down on the farm I managed to get a chapter on cubic exercises completed, right now I am trying to finish off the assignment. So without further ado. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Out to space.

Thank goodness its a long weekend, I have heaps of homework to catch up on. Work seemed like I was getting nowhere today, I had about six major jobs started and I couldn't get any of them finished, because no bloody company would get their arse into gear and fax me their quotes.
I went to my tutorial this evening, and the guy wasn't too bad. phew.
It went ok.
Am home alone, my brother is out looking for a new place to rent, he wants to live with friends, I am not bothered, because, he's young he wants to party etc. Its difficult to do as such, when you live with your sister.
At least now, I can study my math in a bit more peace, I don't have to listen to his V8 supercars in the room next door. Mind you I do love a V8 holden ute, if I could get a new vehicle, it would be a royal blue V8 holden utility with pink horses down the side.
Ha, I can't believe I wrote that in. I was thinking it. Well wishes for the easter break everyone.

Oh bugger, I just spent 15 minutes typing todays blog and the bloody thing didn't work.
Ok in a nutshell, I am spinning out that I decided to get tutoring, I may have jumped to conclusions, though it needn't be pointed out, that I am pretty bad at math.
Why is it that I am bad at math, though I always feel the urge to keep doing it.
I was last person on bus today and the driver drove me to my house, which mind you, is only 100 metres from the bus stop.
There has been no wind here, and its been quite hot for over a week now, the cyclones (hurricanes in the NH) to the north of Australia have zapped all the cool weather away.
Ok I had best get some sleep.
Take care.

Monday night, another big day of working two jobs. I am a bit behind in my math assignments and not happy with my efforts. Finally my night fill boss returned from holiday, yet unbelievably she is reticent to cut my hours. I need to work less nights, I need time to do homework and sleep, oh god, sleep, its a strange concept these days, a foreign activity.
On the plus side, I can afford a tutor to help with my math, on Thursday evenings at about 6.30pm at the uni campus library. Now I am slowly getting the hang of my new day job, I can do some homework at my day job, during morning and afternoon tea.
Ok I need some restful sleep.

Saturday, March 19, 2005

Its Saturday morning, finally a day of the week where I don't go to work. I am typing this at the university campus, as I came here hoping to pick up the singular text I need this semester, but the bookshop is only open Monday to Friday. My coordinator persuaded me to hold down a single unit at uni only worth about 12.5 credits, rather than going through the deferral process and deferring uni for a year. This way I can go complete this unit (minor chemistry unit) which has evening classes and keep my enrolment active.
I am happy to do that.
Thankyou Phil.
Ok I had better get my arse home, and hit the math homework am up to cubics this week.

Tuesday, March 15, 2005

I am a little exhausted and have turned to eating two minute noodles, because I have no time to cook and as its almost midnight I don't really feel like cooking a meal for dinner.
My nightshift job is getting busier as Easter approaches, so instead of finishing at 9.30pm, it gets to 10.30 or 11pm instead and this leaves few hours sleep, before I have to get up and climb on the bus at 7am, to head into the CBD, to my clerical job.
Ergh, instant noodles arnt very good with a vanilla soy milk shake. But I need some goodness and soy milk is the closest thing I've got. Am a little worried that my time left for doing homework is beyond my grasp, I can barely wait for my night shift boss to return from her holidays so I can have my night hours cut down to only 2 or 3 nights a week.
This will benefit my health, especially my poor mental state at the moment and most importantly I can get through more homework.
Sweet dreams everyone.

Connoisseur Icecream is yummy, I'm wrapping my gob around the chocolate obsession with cherry brandy sauce, as I write.
Must get into some more math homework.
Over and out to space.

Thursday, March 10, 2005

Big week, as you know I work 8am to 5pm as a storeperson, then 6pm to 10pm as a nightfiller. I havn't written for a few days, due to someone hacking my bank details over the internet and trying to use my credit card for buying shares in Spain!!!!
The bank's security, whom watch your card 24/7 called me within 12 hours and terminated the card and sent out a fraud alert for the company. Its bad karma to the hacker, this is going rip a path to their bed, because it always come back to bite you on the arse.
Other than that, I am tired and looking forward to the weekend, when I shall sink my teeth into some math homework.

Sunday, March 06, 2005

Its a warm Sunday, I have attempted doing my assignments for intro cal and have had interruptions from mum calling and the need to eat. I am tired as I caved into going out for dinner and then gave into drinking a couple of glasses of red wine, so need to flush my system with loads of water and get straightened out, so I can focus on my homework.

I woke ok, managed to get to the shops and buy some nice work pants and some double adaptors for the power points. My garden is looking pretty good these days. I must stop idling my time away and do some homework.

Alot of accidents happen in the mining industry and its shitty. The shotfirers are the guys who stuff heaps of amfo down holes and create massive explosions to help the excavator dig through and pull out the gold.  Posted by Hello

The typhoon season, often felt by people who work in the gold mines of western australia. I saw alot of this when I worked at Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia, at first its very shaking, but you get used to it eventually and you never get tired of it. Its a spectacular show by nature. Posted by Hello
Hey Phil, good to hear from you, I am possibly not worthy enough to go on your webpage, but its an honour all the same, thanks. The other night, I was writing my weblog, it was actually Monday night, only we had a power out and it switched of my computer. I can not remember what I was writing either, I deserved that pamper pack, doing double shifts every day with 6 hours sleep every night, leaves you feeling as though you have been drinking solid, for the last 3 years.
I truly respect Phil's dedication to math, squeezing study, lectures, test and exams for a double degree and all with very little rest.
I am so tired, I am going to sleep so well after I get of this computer, and tomorrow I have to catch up on some serious math homework. I may have to drop some night fill hours, so I can have time to do homework and study. Otherwise my education is going to suffer and that is not allowed.
Ok I had best rest.
