A Friend in Need

I'm posting this on Shelly's behalf:

For the past few weeks (and for the immediate future), Michelle has been tending to her best friend, who's health has quickly dropped from bad to worse. The aforementioned lump on the back of her friend's head grew in size and was the cause of frequent spasms. After taking her friend to the hospital, the news came that it was cancer. Chemo was the proposed answer, but because of the (then unknown) state of her kidneys, this only worsened her condition. In the end, the only viable option was to induce a coma. At the time I was contacted by Michelle, her friend had been placed on a respirator and a dialysis machine was set to clean her blood twenty four hours a day.

They say that cancer affects everybody and I fear this is only the beginning. Michelle was quickly joined by concerned families and friends, both far and near and at this point, she's entirely devoted to caring for her friend at the hospital and comforting the families and friends involved.

I hope the readers here will hope and pray for the safety of her friend, as well as all those affected by the malady.

yesterday was a little stressful, my best friend has a lump on her head and she has had difficulty getting proper treatment. I went round to see her and found her in quite a state of pain, and she is barely coherent, shuddering from the pounding headaches from a tennis ball sized lump which has formed on the back of her head.
She went to hospital two weeks ago and I can't believe the hospital sent her home with pain pills.
I managed to convince her to call the doctor who squeezed her in before all his normal appointments, he also prescribed her pain relief that won't make her throw up. Which I hope works as she hasn't eaten for two days due to vomitting caused by the pain pills.
The doctor also got her into hospital for today rather than two weeks time when she was scheduled to go in for a biopsy.

I'm hoping today they will hold her at hospital to wait for the results and hopefully remove the lump or something. The lump is in such an awkward place, she can't sleep properly as she can only lie on one side.

TERM TWO

Full steam into part two of semester one, I am still behind so must work really hard to catch up and keep up.
Am currently trying to figure out why I keep getting vector component questions stuffed up. But shall ask around to see which part of my poor algebra is letting me down this time.
My kettle is chucking the sads, it keeps boiling the kettle in four parts, but I think its because of the cold weather creating a build up of moisture around the thermostat and confusing it as to the actual boiling point because of the increase in steam content.
