state I reside is on alert for cat 4 cyclone (clockwise)

well that last post is old news, it now turns out, Western Australia is under threat from a cyclone off the north west coast cyclone 'Glenda', the system is due to hit sometime today around noon or later, it is currently a category four. We have evacuated Karratha and Exmouth and battened down the hatches. See this link:
http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDW60279.shtml
The townships in this link are approximately 800 kilometres north of Perth, where I live. Usually when a cyclone crosses up north, we get alot of rain and thunderstorms. Only one cyclone has come close to Perth, cyclone Alby in 1977.
I hope that it wont be as devastating as Larry in Queensland.
Life is going ok at the moment. Math is mega hard and scarey as ever and am hoping my long distance teacher will consider my plea to re-learn year 10 algebra, as I really have no recollection of doing it and am seriously concerned that reading books on algebra isn't going to help me get by in the long run.
As it is I am struggling in my current upper school studies of math, I think this is due to my lack of algebra learning.
