Christmas

Have been down at my parents farm for christmas over the last week, it was good fun and I loved catching up with everyone.
Unfortunately I ate alot of food and did no exercise and I feel like a blimp. ergh.
I also went to the boxing day races yesterday, which was good fun. I saw a few people that I knew from many years back, when I was younger and lived in Albany, I felt like I had travelled back in time.
It was an excellent day all round though.
Ok, I need to keep moving, I go back to work tomorrow and have to unpack, do washing and I need some sleep, I havn't had a decent sleep the whole time I was down in Plantagenet.
One sad thing, I caught up with my deceased friends widowed fiancee' and he didn't want to talk much, I hope he gets through these tough times and that some of his wounded heart will heal.
Hope your all having a good festive season.

In Australia, we have a public holiday directly after christmas December 26th, called boxing day. Which is good, as you can recover from the chrissie festivities before heading back to work. So alot of horse racing turf clubs, have a boxing day race meet. We also have the cricket, boxing day test match.
Did you guys have a nice white christmas, sounds romantic.
