Its 9.45am, I was emailed a confirmation of my medical examination for the lab job. Which is good news, now all I have to do is be healthy enough for them, I have had one of these medicals before, when I got a job on a goldmine a couple of years ago. I think the only part that is a little off putting, is when you have to produce a urine sample, with someone watching. The rest is ok.
The weather is slightly cooler, yesterday was real hot, it got up to 42 degrees Celsius and the hot wind blowing off the desert was literally burning on your skin, at night time!
Because the wind was so hot, it has evaporated quite a bit of water from the ocean and today its completely overcast and very humid, not a breath of wind.
I am hoping to get a one year deferral of my uni course, so I can get a full time job to pay off more of my mortgage and also study year 12 maths. As my lack of math knowledge was making science very difficult at uni last year. Since I am a mature student my memory of math is full of holes and this really bothers me and I am determined to do something about it, before I continue on with my science degree at uni.
