Michelle's Things

Have I got some news, yesterday I went to the WACA to watch day four of the cricket test, Australia v Pakistan. What a SUPERB day of bowling, the WACA was in top condition and perfect for any fast bowlers looking for wickets. Pakistan fell so quickly, unfortunately, I was kind of hoping for a days worth of cricket, Glen McGrath bagging an excellent 8 for 24, it was fierce, and very impressive for any viewer, with Kasprowicz clean bowling the stumps as well to take a wicket. After all was over, I felt like taking a wander around the grounds as I had never seen the whole place before, especially members, being a student not able to afford ground membership. None the less I wandered to an area, where a small crowd had gathered, and inside was the aussie team taking lunch. Lucky for us Adam Gilchrist came out and signed peoples memorabilia, all I had was my hat, so I got him to sign my hat, I was beside myself, really, really stoked, finally the man whom I appreciate most as a cricket player, I got to meet in person and on top of that, Darren Lehman came out and gave signatures as did Glen McGrath, so by this stage I was really happy, my christmas has arrived already. Woooh hooooo YEEEEE HAAAAA. I was fairly beside myself, and couldn't stop smiling for a while, I feel like a bit of a tool, but no less, I am still pretty happy about it. Good thing cricket players don't surf the web.
Have a good one people.
